This case study explores the background of a specific Japanese firm that produces the industrial products: the product that is effectively used for mid-to-heavy manufacturing processes with some relevant ideas and methods that made the firm become unique by its identity and aforementioned ideas and methods. Accordingly, the ideas and methods of production process made by the company creates the competitive advantage to the market like the example, by differentiating on unique value addition instead of choosing the common attractive strategy like the pricing strategy which the company sees as an inappropriate strategy, establishing the strong network production throughout the country involved with safety methods to prevent common disasters (e.g., volcano eruption and earthquakes), seeking for possible innovation to create the labor saving and avoid specific risk type of exchange risk by selecting the raw materials domestically. These aforementioned examples are considered to be the best policies to tolerate any fluctuations throughout the physical, financial and economic factors from now on.
